Further Faster Summer Rogaine Series - Wed 12, 19 & 26 January 2022
COVID 19 - RED LEVEL UPDATE 24/01/2021
We have made some adjustments to run the final rogaine of the series under Red Light Alert Level. Please read carefully through all of the below, make sure you've registered online and then fill out the form at the bottom to select a start wave.
We will run the event over two days and four start times. First in first pick and these will be allocated based on the form below. Each start wave will be limited to 100 participants as per government requirements.
- Wednesday 26th, 4:30pm
- Wednesday 26th, 7pm
- Thursday 27th, 4:30pm
- Thursday 27th, 7pm
The usual two hour event will be shortened to 1 hour 45mins event to prevent crossover of start waves. The one hour event will stay at one hour.
Registration will be open 30 minutes before each event (please don't be early).
Masks will need to be worn during registration, please maintain one meter distance from other teams and have your vaccine pass ready to show.
Please ensure only one person per team fills out the below form and that you've read and understood all of the above.
Entries to the Wednesday start waves are temporarily paused to give the existing entrants first option, and will be reopened on Tuesday, 25 January 2022. Entries are open for the Thursday start waves now at this link. Once entered, please fill in the below form:

Note: There will be no formal prizegiving but spot prize winners will be listed on this page tomorrow and prizes available to be collected at registration.
Break up the working week with an exciting foray into some of the lesser known parts of the Port Hills. The events are hosted with the support of the New Zealand Rogaining Association and are a great family evening out or a stepping stone to longer events later in the year.

- 12 Jan 2022 - Mt Vernon and Avoca Valleys
- 19 Jan 2022 - Halswell Quarry
- 26 Jan 2022 - Huntsbury

- These are vaccine passport events, you will need to present yours at registration
- Please wear a mask when you register, start and finish. You may take it off while out on course.
- If we are at a Red alert level we will need to limit numbers to 100 people.
Location: Start and registration for Event 3 - Huntsbury is at the top end of Huntsbury Road. Parking at the event HQ is limited so allow for a few minutes walk as you may need to park farther down the road.
Flexible start time: Teams participating in the 2 hour course are invited to start any time between 5:30pm and 7:00pm. Teams on the 1hr course can start any time between 5:30pm and 8:00pm. Registration opens at 5:00pm. Refer to updated details regarding rego and start times
Entry fees (same for 2hr and 1hr events):
Adults - $20
Tertiary - $10
High school - $5
Under 12 - Free (must run with an adult)
(Note - a $5 surcharge applies to on-the-night payments) No on the night entries this week due to COVID Red Level
Toilets - Toilet facilities will be available at the event center.
Christchurch weather is highly variable and we recommend that participants are prepared for all extremes. At minimum the following gear is required:
- Polypro or equivalent top
- Pen or pencil as back up
Water - There will not be drinking water out on course so please ensure you have enough on you for the full time you will be out.
